Raymond Howey, 85, of Salina, passed away peacefully at his home Jul. 23, 2022. He was born May 19, 1937, in Miami, OK, to Raymond and Irene (Cummings) Crosby. At one year old Raymond was adopted by Cecil and Marceil (Schoen) Howey of Dodge City, KS.
Raymond is survived by his children Jill Drummond (Gary) of Wichita, Kan., Michael Howey (Elaine) of Wichita, Kan., Steven Howey (Becky) of Salina, Kan., and Mark Howey (Christine) of Wichita, Kan.; and his sister Doris O’Neal of Hutchinson, Kan.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marcine; parents; sisters Maudie (Crosby) Johnson and Dorothy (Crosby) Cook; brothers Jack Crosby, Billy Crosby, Dale Crosby, Richard Crosby, and Wayne Crosby.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jul. 27, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday Jul. 28 at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. following the funeral at St. Joseph Cemetery in Dorrance, KS.
