Salina woman sustains broken jaw; man arrested

A Salina man was arrested on multiple requested charges, including aggravated battery, after and alleged incident early Wednesday.

Officers were sent to Salina Regional Health Center Wednesday morning for the report of a victim of domestic violence with a significant injury, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning.

An 18-year-old Salina woman told officers that earlier Wednesday morning, her significant other, identified as Joshua A. Krueger, 30, of Salina, has restrained her and battered her at their residence in the 400 block of S. College Avenue. A medical examination revealed that the woman had a broken jaw, Hanus said.

Later Wednesday morning, officers located and arrested Krueger on the following requested charges, Hanus said.

●Aggravated battery

●Criminal threat

●Criminal restraint

●Domestic violence - battery
