SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured and other arrested after an accident that occurred just after 7p.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Ram 2500 driven by Jared E. Tillett, 40, Minneapolis, was westbound on Walnut Street. After the stop sign at Broadway Boulevard, the driver failed to yield right of way and collided with a southbound 2024 Ford Super Duty driven by Jonathan M. Gordon, 46, Salina.
EMS transported Gordon to Salina Regional Health Center. Tillett was not injured despite not wearing a seatbelt, according to the KHP. He was arrested on a requested charge of DUI; 2nd conv; comp evidence of blood/breath .08+, according to the Saline County Booking report.
