Gabriel Tristen Mora, 27, of Salina, Kansas, passed away July 30th, 2023. He was born on May 24th, 1996, in Salina, KS, the son of Luis F. Mora and Kimberly K. Leiker.
Growing up, Gabe was always an adventurer who loved the outdoors, especially hiking, and riding horses at his grandparents’ house. He had a magnetic personality and never met a stranger. Gabe had an ear for music and a unique talent to play a variety of instruments well, and without any training. He enjoyed writing songs, playing guitar and piano. Gabe worked for Travelers of America and was training to become a Semi-mechanic. He was a gentle soul who would give anyone the shirt off his back.
Gabe was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Ronald Miller, Francisco and Delores Mora; and beloved childhood friend, Skylar Lewis.
Gabe is survived by his parents, Luis Mora, Kimberly Leiker & Dave Riley; his Grandmother, Lula Miller; sisters, Amanda Moralez & family, Katelyn Pancost Miller & family, & Jessica Hodges Moralez; brothers, Dalaney Roberts & Aden Mora; cousin, Kayleigh Miller & family as well as cousins, aunts and uncles.
In honor of Gabe, a bench will be made and placed at Indian Rock in Salina, KS. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
