Justina (Goertzen) Koehn, 87, of Inman, KS, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, KS.
Justina was born on November 26, 1934, at Camp 45, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jacob H. and Lena (Koehn) Goertzen. On August 17, 1952, she was united in marriage to Leonard Koehn at La Tena Chihuahua, Mexico. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2010.
She was a member of Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman
Survivors include: four sons, Willard and Jennie, Clifford and Cheryl, of Inman, Kansas, Calvin and Lawanna, of Hazelton, Idaho, Lyle and Margaret, of Hartwell, Georgia; three daughters, Arlene and Lindley Toews, of Whitemouth, Manitoba, Lenora and Lance Dirks, of Rich Hill, Missouri, and Glenda Smith, of Sedgwick, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Sara Koehn of Inman, Kansas; 34 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; siblings Elizabeth Becker, Jake and Anne Goertzen, Cornelius and Verla Goertzen, Herman and Jewel Goertzen, David and Jolene Goertzen; sisters-in-law, Verna Goertzen, and Susie and Benjamin Parra; and one uncle, Walter Schmidt.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Leonard; one son, Clinton; one son-in-law, Rodney Smith; siblings John and Henry, and four siblings who died in infancy, Abe, William, Agnes, and Lena; one brother-law, Herman Koehn; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Schmidt.
The visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman, KS. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 31, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Burial will follow at the Zion Church Cemetery.
