Donna Persigehl

Donna Persigehl, 59, of Salina, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. She was born on January 29, 1961 to Marvin and Jean (Englund) Persigehl. Donna graduated from Salina South High School, Kansas State University with a BS in Food Science, and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her professional career she excelled, starting as a line supervisor at Sunshine Biscuits in Kansas City. In 1987 she joined Thomas J Lipton as a production supervisor and soared from there. After several years at Lipton, Donna joined The Clorox Company moving to Chicago, Oakland, and ending up in Atlanta. Donna held numerous roles over the years from Department Manager, Supply Chain Planner, Project Manager, and Senior Operations Planner. In 2017, Donna took an early retirement from Clorox to move back home.

Donna loved to travel and took many trips domestically and abroad. She loved her cats, Phoebe and Flint. As an animal lover she frequented the Rolling Hills Zoo. Donna also enjoyed the Fine Arts and attended events at the Salina Community Theater and Stiefel.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Jean Persigehl. She is survived by her brother, David Persigehl and his wife, Lori; nephew, Paul; niece, Emma; family, and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, from 4-8 pm at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. A private graveside service officiated by Rev. Lori Persigehl will be December 23 at 2 pm. This service will be streamed and on-demand throughout December at www.triumc.org/donna. Condolences may be given to the family on this website. A memorial service at Christ the King Lutheran Church will be held post-pandemic.
