SALINE COUNTY—Police in Salina are investigating an allege aggravated battery. We arrested a Julio Trejo-Anchondo.
Just before 7p.m. December 19, police investigated 30-year-old Julio Trejo-Anchondo in the the 1100 block of West Republic in Salina who was trying to discipline a seven year old child when he struck them in the head, according to a media release.
The child hit their head on a table, causing a slight gash. Trejo-Anchondo did not immediately take the child to receive medical treatment The next day, another family member took the child to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment and including some stitches.
On Dec. 20, police arrested Trejo-Anchondo on requested charges of aggravated battery and endangerment of the child, for not getting medical treatment. He was booked into the Saline county jail.
