Study session
Commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session at 2:30 p.m. Monday to hear options for the future of Jerry Ivey Memorial Park pond. Included will be information about a timeline for filling the blue-green algae-plagued pond and a timeline for designing and reconstructing the site.

Regular meeting
Commissioners also are being asked to consider authorizing the mayor to accept property from the Salina Family YMCA for Phase 2 of the Smoky Hill River Greenway Trail.
Additionally, they are being asked to consider authorizing the city manager to accept Phase 1 property and execute six agreements with property owners. According to information from the city, each of the six property acquisitions "is estimated to be minimal and well within the city manager's purchasing authority."
The city also noted that "there is minimal fiscal impact to the city other than the long term maintenance involved with the property and trail upkeep."
Other items on the Salina City Commission agenda for Monday include the following.
●Consider authorizing the city manager to execute renewals of agreement for administrative services for a Self-Funded Health and Prescription Benefit Plan and individual and aggregate stop-loss coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
●Consider authorizing the city manager to renew an agreement for life insurance benefits with MetLife.
