McPherson County reports 4 additional COVID-19 cases

MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported four additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 81.

Following is the information from the health department concerning the new cases.

Positive case #78 is a symptomatic female in her 30s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.

Positive case #79 is a symptomatic female in her 20s with known exposure and is recovering at home.

Positive case #80 is a symptomatic male in his 20s with known exposure and is recovering at home.

Positive case #81 is a symptomatic male in his 40s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.

Of the 81 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, 49 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines, the health department reported. Additionally, there are no hospitalizations at this time and the county has recorded no deaths attributed to COVID-19, the health department noted.
