Hot and dry conditions will continue for the next few days.
Smoky skies will likely limit max temperatures in eastern Kansas today and tomorrow with the west likely to be a decent amount warmer, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday a front will approach bring temperatures down some and increasing the risk for severe weather.
