Saline County law enforcement are actively searching for an escaped inmate and seeking the public's assistance.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, the District Court ordered inmate Allen Marlow (32) to a mandated treatment center in Salina.
Then on the morning of May 18 Marlow was taken from the Saline County Jail to the treatment center by a deputy.
However at 7:34 p.m. that same day, staff from the treatment center reported that Marlow ran away from the center, approximately 45 minutes prior to them calling 9-1-1.
Law enforcement then responded and checked the area, but were unable to locate Marlow.
Currently, the Sheriff’s Office is searching for Marlow.
The following is a description and statement of Allen J. Marlow:
- White male, 6’02”, 158 lbs.
- Brown/balding hair, brown eyes.
- Last seen running eastbound in the 600 block of East Elm Street, Salina, Kansas at approximately 6:55 p.m. on 05/18/2026.
- Wearing grey sweatpants and blue t-shirt.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office will be submitting paperwork to the Saline County Attorney’s Office requesting charges of Escape From Custody.
Marlow has previous convictions for Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery, Criminal Restraint, Obstruction, Aggravated Endangering a Child, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude and for Drugs, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
