LINCOLN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Friday in Lincoln County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Chevy Camaro driven by Natina L. Mitchell, 28, Thedford, Nebraska, was westbound on Interstate 70 near the Beverly, Carneiro exit. The Camaro rear-ended a 2002 Chevy Silverado driven by Aaron M. Gray, 48, Russell. Both vehicles then pulled off onto the right shoulder.
EMS transported Gray and a passenger in the pickup Deanna J. Gray, 54, Russell, to the Ellsworth County Medical Center. Mitchell was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
