Kathleen Melba (Morehead) Jensen was born on January 19, 1946, to Keith and Grace (Mosier) Morehead, and passed away on October 18, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 75.
She attended and graduated from Belleville High School, class of 1963. In 1971, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was active in her faith until her death.
Kathy married Dennis “Doc” Jensen on September 15, 1963, and to this union, six children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; children Gary Jensen (Marsha) of Belleville, Shelley Taylor (Mike) of Apopka, Florida, Kevin Jensen (Starr) of Hastings, Nebraska, Rebecca Sargent (Steve) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Brandon Jensen of Norway, Kansas, Brady Jensen (Billie) of Meeker, Colorado; 16 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 11 step-greatgrandchildren, brother Donald Morehead (Judi) of Katy, Texas, and sister Karen Jensen of Scandia.
Private family memorial services will be held at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, with burial following at the Belleville City Cemetery.
