Two small quakes rattle part of far southern Saline County

BRIDGEPORT - Another small earthquake shook part of far southern Saline County.

A 2.3 magnitude quake struck southeast of Bridgeport at 10:23 a.m. Saturday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. The quake was centered south-southwest of the S. Ohio Street/E. Rose Hill Road intersection.

Saturday's earthquake struck near the location of a 2.1 magnitude quake Friday. A 2.1 magnitude quake struck southeast of Bridgeport at 11:41 a.m. Friday. It was centered south-southeast of the S. Ohio Street/E. Rose Hill Road intersection.
