An ongoing investigation by Salina authorities led to the arrest of a Salina man for allegedly possessing illegal drugs and charging him with numerous offences.
According to the Salina Police Department on Saturday, June 21st at around 7:00 pm, during an ongoing investigation the Salina Drug Task Force located a 47-year old male identified as Alphonse Baham at a home in the 600 block of Johnstown.
Police stated that the Drug Task Force found over '10 grams of suspected Fentanyl' on Baham and a subsequent search warrant followed at the residence. During the search, it was determined that additional items relating to the distribution of fentanyl and two firearms were located. Police also reported that two children under the age of 18 'resided at the home.'
Baham was then arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail. He is the following charges:
Distribution of Fentanyl less than 100 grams, one count of Felony Paraphernalia, one count Distribution of Fentanyl less than a 1000’ from a school, one count of a Drug Tax Stamp, one count of Aggravated Endangerment of a Child, one count of Felony Obstruction, one count of Criminal Possession of a Firearm and one count of misdemeanor Paraphernalia.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
