The Granny Brigade is inviting the public to a candidate forum ahead of the general election, to be held on Tuesday, September 17 at 7 p.m. at the Carver Center, located at 315 North Second Street.

Both political parties will be represented at the event, providing an opportunity for voters to hear from the candidates vying for key local positions.

The forum will feature Kathleen Malone Crouch and Annie Grevas, both candidates for the Saline County Commission District Two seat, as well as Clarke Sanders, the incumbent for the Kansas 69th House District, and Lori Blake, who is challenging Sanders for the seat.

The event is open to the public, and those unable to attend in person can watch via a live stream provided by Mean Dean Productions.

This forum presents a valuable chance for community members to engage with local candidates and learn about their platforms before heading to the polls.
