SALINE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30a.m. Saturday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Peterbilt semi driven by Luis C. Manzano-Reyes, 33, Houston, Texas, was southbound on Interstate 135 at at E. McReynolds Road.
The driver swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle entered the west ditch. The diver steered back onto the road and overturned. The semi came to rest on the interstate under McReynolds Road.
EMS transported Manzano-Reyes to Salina Regional Health Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.

SALINE COUNTY — Crews were on Interstate 135 South of Salina Saturday morning removing a rolled commercial vehicle from early Saturday..
The right lane was closed, according to the KHP. Authorities reminded drivers to slow down for those on scene.
Authorities did not report any injuries from the incident.
