Salina law enforcement is investigating a residential burglary that occurred Monday evening.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on July 27 at about 6:45 pm, officers responded a residential burglary in northwest Salina.
Upon arrival, contact was made with a male homeowner, who stated he had arrived at the residence and upon entering, he noticed several glass items were broken in the home.
The homeowner said a DVD player, several diecast metal car collectables and several bar-style mirrors were missing.
A neighbor reported seeing a black male, approximately 50 to 60 years old, wearing a white shirt, blue basketball shorts, and a large black camping-style backpack, flee the area as the homeowner arrived.
The investigation is ongoing.
