After the breaking news surfaced that the US Federal Court ruled the Cozy Inn can keep their UFO-themed mural, Salina Commissioners "may" issue comments in the next city commission meeting.
"We’re not going to have any official comment other than the city’s recent press release regarding the case. That may change after our executive session this coming Monday," said Salina Mayor, Greg Lenkiewicz.
The current commissioners, Lenkiewicz, Jerry Ivey, Trent Davis, Bill Longbine and Michael Hoppock, along with the City of Salina, were named as defendants in the lawsuit that the Cozy Inn filed on February 2024.
The next Salina city commission meeting will take place on Monday, November 24 at 4:00 pm inside Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.
