MANHEIM, Pa. - Fort Hays State wrestlers Marty Verhaeghe and A.J. Cooper are among the first NWCA Individual Rankings for the regular season, released on Friday.
Verhaeghe is ranked No. 11 at 184 pounds, while Cooper is No. 10 at 285 pounds. Fort Hays State continues to receive votes as a team outside of the Top 25.

Verhaeghe owns a record of 13-2 on the season after action in three tournaments. He was the champion of the 184-pound Elite bracket at the Maryville Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open and has placed at all three tournaments he competed in.
Cooper has a record of 9-3 so far this season after placing in the two tournaments he has competed in to this point. His highest finish was third place at the Dakota Wesleyan Open.
Fort Hays State received five votes toward the latest team rankings. Four of the five programs in the MIAA are referenced in the poll. Central Oklahoma takes over the No. 1 ranking as a team in the first regular season poll, up from a preseason ranking of No. 4. Nebraska-Kearney is No. 3, while FHSU and Newman are among the receiving votes section.
