GYPSUM - A small earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County early Tuesday morning.

According to information from the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.4 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum at 5:13 a.m. Tuesday. It was centered just south of Assaria Road, a bit west of S. Cunningham Road.
