Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact central and northern Kansas this evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, the storms are expected to roll through the area between roughly 6 p.m. and midnight.
While widespread severe weather is not expected, a storm or two may produce dime to quarter size hail, and 50 to 60 mph winds, the weather service noted.
