HUTCHINSON - Zachary L. Peterman, Sr., 21, formerly of Salina, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021.

He was born August 26, 1999 to Rob Peterman and Jennifer Dawson in Kansas City.

Zach was a people person who could bring a smile to anyone’s face with his great sense of humor. He loved the outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, being a dad to Pete Jr., Lake and Dodge, and being a fiancée to LeeAnna. Zach would not hesitate to help a friend or family member when needed. Zach could work on anything with a motor but especially loved his Pro Street ’86 Chevy C10 truck .

He was preceded in death by his father Rob; uncle Sean Peterman; grandfather Carroll Slupianek; uncle Brad Pretre; uncle Mike Slupianek; cousin Ashley Richardson; and second dad, Joe Larson.

Zach is survived by his mother Jennifer and stepfather Kevin Dawson; fiancée Leeanna Moore; children Zachary Peterman, Jr., Dodge Matney, Lake-Lynn Moore; brothers Chase Dawson, Cruz Dawson, Cooper Dawson, Shea Dawson, Logan Dawson, Evan Larson; sisters Grace Clouse (Marcus), Hannah Larson; aunt Julie Hicks; cousin,Amanda Richardson, cousin Makayla Martin, cousin Derek Pretre, cousin Dylan Pretre; aunt Michelle Slupianek; cousin Jake Slupianek (Shelly), cousin Adam Slupianek (Jaime); aunt Deb Sandman (Robert); cousin Eric Sandman, cousin Brandon Sandman, cousin Shayne Peterman; aunt Karma Latasa (Leroy); cousin Daniel Latasa; grandparents Robert and Sheila Peterman, Lorna Slupianek; and step-mother, Cindy Larson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Zach’s mother, Jennifer Dawson, to start an educational fund for Zachary Peterman, Jr.
