NEW CAMBRIA - Joy Callabresi was born March 26, 1927 in Vining, KS to Arnold and Vera Anderson. She went to heaven on June 12, 2021, surrounded by her children. Joy married Francis Callabresi July 11, 1944. They had two children, Jean (Randy) Curry and Jerry (Sharon) Callabresi.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother Carl; and sister Gloria Ingermanson. Joy is survived by her children; grandchildren Travis Boss (Alyssa), Luke Curry (Jessica), Matt Curry, Andrew Callabresi (Melissa), and Amy Renz (Luke); three great-granddaughters, Ryan Lofton, Kendall Renz, and baby Renz due in October; sisters-in-law Enid Anderson and Helen Mattison; and many generations of nieces and nephews. She is a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church, New Cambria.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church, New Cambria with a lunch following.
