Police are investigating the theft of multiple items from a storage facility in north Salina.
Salina Police Sergeant Kyle Tonniges reported this morning that two reports of stolen property were taken at Access Storage, 1433 N. 10th Street.
Sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, someone stole a blue 1997 Chevrolet Suburban, valued at $2,000, from inside the fenced lot.
Later, another person reported that the lock was cut and various items stolen from his storage unit, including two bicycles, a power washer, a scuba tank and mask, and various tools. The total value of those items was estimated at $6,500, Tonniges noted.
Surveillance video from the storage lot shows two people cutting the fence on the northwest corner of the lot.
The incidents remain under investigation.
