MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department has reported four new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 135.
Information about the new cases, as provided by the health department, is as follows.
Positive case No. 132 is a symptomatic male in his 40s with known exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 133 is a symptomatic male under the ag e of 18 with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 134 is a symptomatic female in her 30s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 135 is a symptomatic female in her 40s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Of the 135 confirmed cases, 111 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines.
The health department reported that there are two current hospitalizations, one of which is a previously announced case who is a male in his 30s who is currently ventilated. The county has yet to report a a COVID-19 related death, the health department noted.
