Brenda Leigh House, 60, of Salina, Kansas, entered the arms of Jesus on October 10, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family in Salina, Kansas. She was born on November 13, 1959 in Salina, Kansas, the daughter of John Billy ( Jack) and Ida Faye House. She was a retired member of the environmental services team at Kansas State University.
Brenda was a proud Mom and even prouder Grandmother. her favorite thing in the entire world was to spend time with her grandchildren; Joshua, Sherida, and Erica. she loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. She thoroughly enjoyed watching and cheering on the Green Bay Packers with her family. She loved and followed the teachings of Jesus, she taught Serenity and Deja to do the same. Her family would find her humming or singing her favorite Garth Brooks tunes anytime day or night. During her years at Kansas State, she developed and cherished the relationships she was able to make with students and staff.
She is survived by her daughters, Serenity ( Travis) Johnson and Deja House; her grandchildren, Joshua, Sherida, and Erica; plus numerous friends and acquaintances.
Per her request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Watson Room in The Stiefel Theatre, 151 South Santa Fe, Salina, Kansas.
