Sometime between Tuesday and Saturday, someone stole a 20-foot trailer from where it was parked at 916 N. Santa Fe Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
The trailer, belonging to Dewey Simpson, 57, of Salina, was described as being a black 2011 PJ 20-foot car hauler with a Kansas license plate of 947DDM. There was a three-ton winch on the trailer.
The trailer was valued at $3,000.
Sometime between 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 a.m. Friday, someone stole an enclosed trailer from a parking lot in the 700 block of Johnstown Avenue, Forrester said.
The trailer, belonging to John Corman, 30, of Salina, was described as being a white, enclosed six-foot Pace American trailer that was secured with a lock. The trailer, valued at $1,000, did not have a license tag, Forrester said.
