Kansas Wesleyan coach Cody Bartlow got his first win leading the Coyotes and Cristobal Schenfeld brought home a haul, scoring four times to lead the Coyotes past Doane on Saturday at JRI Hospitality Stadium at the Graves Family Sports Complex.

Schenfeld netted three of his goals in the first 30 minutes of the match, two assisted by Juan Manuel Lozada Leon, the other by Joshua Soto.

The first goal came as Lozada dropped a pass off from the top of the D to Schenfeld streaking towards goal at the right post and his shot slide inside the far post in the fifth minute.

Schenfeld's second came as Soto dropped a pass from the left side into the box to Schenfeld at the right post just outside the 6-yard box and his header found nylon for the goal in the 15th minute.

He completed the hat trick in the 30th minute as Lozada sent a free kick into the box and Schenfeld was able to redirect the ball into the net.

KWU led 3-0 at the half.

Lozada scored in the 51st minute for the Coyotes taking a pass from Soto and dribbling untouched into the box and his shot from just outside the left post past the keeper who had come off his line made it 4-0 Coyotes.

Doane got its goal in the 59th on a direct kick by Mateo Jelicich.

Jose Valdez scored in the 66th for the Coyotes to extend the lead to 5-1 as he scored off a ball knocked away by the Doane keeper and had an open net to score.

Schenfeld completed his haul in the 82nd. He was able to score off another misplayed ball by the Doane keeper that was sent into the box on a free kick.

Doane outshot KWU 16-9 in the match, but the Coyotes made the most of their opportunities. Schenfeld's four goals led the Coyotes in shots. Andrew Cole had five saves in goal.
