The Lions took the opening kickoff and wasted no time getting on the board when Owen Just found Brayden Johnson for a 75-yard touchdown.

Ellsworth would respond, but early in the second quarter, Minneapolis was at it again, this time on a one-play Bryson Lonberger 70-yard touchdown run.

That score would give Minneapolis a 14-7 lead, but it would be their last, as Ellsworth rattled off 40 unanswered points down the stretch to dominate the showdown.

Tucker Goss was the star of the show, snapping off twelve different runs of ten or more yards for over 170 total rushing yards on the night.

Those Goss carries included four rushing touchdowns of 35, 10, 5, and 11 yards.

Bearcat QB Carson Jacobs was also instrumental in the win, throwing the first touchdown pass of his career to Jackson Minear and rushing for over 100 yards on the night.

Ellsworth returns home to host Lyons in week four while Minneapolis stays home to entertain Norton.
