Beginning Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Smoky Hill Construction will continue working along Glen Avenue from Marymount Road to Beechwood Road. Pavement will be removed, existing utilities will be located, and a new water main will be installed. Eastbound Glen Avenue will be closed to traffic from Marymount Road to Beechwood Road. 

Northbound Marymount Road will be reduced to one-lane through Glen Avenue. The intersection of Glen Avenue and Aullwood Road will be closed to traffic. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained. Work is expected to last three weeks and be completed by August 6, 2025, weather permitting.

Appropriate barriers will be in place to ensure the safety of workers. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.

City of Salina announces construction along Glen Avenue to Beechwood until August
