Attention truckers: Friday is your night at Salina Speedway!
The Landstar 24th annual Trucker Appreciation Night at the Races is scheduled for Friday at Salina Speedway.
CDL drivers get into the evening of stock car racing for free from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday courtesy Landstar Ranger of Salina, according to an event flyer.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and races begin at 8 p.m.
There will be sponsored trucker prizes and race fan prizes throughout the night and during intermission. The first 100 children receive goody bags. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 ticket sale, with half of the proceeds going to the purchaser of the lucky ticket and the other half going to the Amy Mathis Family to help with ongoing medical expenses, according to information on the flyer.
Tractor parking will be available.
