Kipp Ivan Cooper, age 75 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on Saturday, June 1st, 2024.
Kipp Ivan Cooper was born on December 15th, 1948, in Waukegan, Illinois to his parents, Ivan Arthur and Thelma Jo Armstrong (Smith). Kipp served his country honorably in the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Kipp married Jackie Sue Collins on September 2, 1978, blending their two families together as one. Kipp went on to be an apprentice lineman and spent his entire professional career of 40 years as a lineman for Westar in Salina, Kansas. During his time in Salina, he was a member of the Masons. In retirement, Jackie and Kipp spent time traveling and lived in both Florida and Georgia. Kipp loved his time in Georgia with Jackie and his dog Lucy exploring nature, fishing, and golfing. Kipp loved spending time with all his family and friends.
The survivors of Kipp Ivan Cooper include his wife, Jackie Sue Cooper; children, Brady Cooper (Tiffany), Jeffrey Cooper (Chandra), Rachael Cooper; grandchildren, Jacob Cooper (Shelby), Tasha Cooper, Mackala Cooper, Brayden Pascoe, Teressa Cooper, Christine Pascoe, Avery Cooper, Nicolas Cooper, and Adriana Cooper; great-grandchildren, Sylar Cooper, Tavean Cooper, and Jasper Cooper; siblings, Kathy Kroupa (Kenny), Susie Sellers; several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Kipp was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Arthur Cooper, and Thelma Jo Armstrong, his son, Paul Brian Cooper, and his brother, Dennis Cooper.
