<img src="https://media.eaglewebservices.com/public/2019/11/1574723714072.jpeg"> Lois Maxine Fahring, 93, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. Lois was born in rural Kansas on June 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Edna Marie (Crowther) and Robert Wendell Morrison. She married Philo Fahring on June 11, 1946. Lois and Philo traveled many years and loved their campers. There were also many weekends of boating and camping at Lake Kanopolis and Lake Wilson. Together they enjoyed working in their flower and vegetable gardens. Lois worked at NBA and worked her way up to Senior Vice President as Head of Operations. She retired in 1980. Survivors include her daughter, Donna J. Young (Royce, of Salina, Kansas; grandsons, Jeffrey R. Belton (Beth) of Overland Park, Kansas and Todd Fahring (Maci) of Cumming, Georgia; granddaughter, Ivy L. Hutson (Chris) of Overland Park, Kansas; daughter in law, Dianne Fahring of Johns Creek, Georgia; and sister in law, Lonelva Morrison. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Carter Belton, Will Belton, Thea Melvin, Allyn Fahring, Hollis Fahring, Reid Fahring, Weslee Fahring, Kennedy Hutson, and Duncan Hutson She is preceded in death by her husband, Philo; son, Alan; and one sister and two brothers. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 3rd at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, Kansas. Lois Maxine Fahring

Norman Wendte, 96 died November 23, 2019 at the Linn Community Nursing Home in Linn, KS. He was born on May 17, 1923 in Clay Center, the son of Fred and Anna (Keller) Wendte. Norman was raised in the Palmer community. He married Norma Dankenbring on October 8, 1950. They farmed in the Palmer area and Norman worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation. In 1973, they made their home in Clay Center. They returned to Palmer in 1992 and back to Clay Center in 2010. Norma preceded him in death on June 15, 2019. Norman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center and enjoyed playing softball and baseball. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Aletha Weiche. He was born Nov. 28, 1925, in Palco, Kan., to Jeremaniah and Rose (Roberts) Balthazor. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Sid married Janet Roberta Brin on May 28, 1952. She passed away April 17, 2012. He was a teacher, farmer, builder and business owner. There was no job too small or too large for him to tackle. If his family, friends or church asked for help he never said no. He served in active duty in Korea, returning home to finish his education specialist degree at Ft. Hays State University. He was a devout Catholic and devoted family man. Sid is survived by his children, Roxie Miller, of Mesa, Ariz., and Melanie Britegam, John Balthazor and Tracy Balthazor (Sheryl, all of Salina; brother, Keith Balthazor (Jane, of Salina; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Rosary service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Father Fred Gatschet as celebrant, and Mark Roberti as Deacon and homilist. Glenna LoRee Jolly, 89, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at Kenwood View Nursing Home. Survivors include her children, daughter, Marsha Ostmeyer (Kristen, son, Dan Jolly and wife Connie, and daughter, Janis Holmes and husband Wallace; seven grandchildren, John M., Mike and Adam Ostmeyer, Matt Jolly and wife Lori, Danielle Jolly, Clayton Abbott and wife Crystal and Chris Abbott and friend Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Carson, Juliet and Alexis Abbott; sister, Patsy Ostmeyer; brother, Dennis Sowers and wife MaryJo, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Keith Jolly, and son in-law, John Ostmeyer. Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life service will be at a later date. Glenna LoRee Jolly

Harold was born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on December 5, 1939, a son of the late Dellora (Wagner) and Harold L. Baier. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1978 and was a decorated Vietnam veteran. After his retirement from the Army, he worked for the Volunteer in Probation/Parole program in Milwaukee, and volunteered for both the Hotline, a crisis, information and referral service and the Volunteer Connection of Salina. He was a wonderful carpenter and enjoyed doing home repair work for the elderly and others who were not able to do for themselves. Survivors include two daughters, Debi Holcomb (Cary) of Manhattan, Kansas, and Jennifer McConnell (Duce) of Wichita, Kansas; son, Bryan Baier of Salina; three stepdaughters, Marva Morgan of Salina, Marcia Blosser (John) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Amanda Foust of Salina; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Farrar) Baier; and sons, Justin and Daryl Baier. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 30th at 2:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. 500 S. Harold R. Baier

Abby Lynn Gourley, 58, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in Ellsworth. She was born February 1, 1961 in Phillipsburg, KS to Raymond A. and Majol L. (Pollom) Thompson.&nbsp;Abby married David Gourley in Phillipsburg on September 1, 1984. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kansas State University and was an elementary school teacher. She was active with fundraising at her local humane societies.&nbsp;Abby is survived by her husband, David Gourley; her beloved cat, Snyder; and sisters, Amy Gibbs (Randy) and Betsy Goff (Rod). She was preceded in death by her parents.&nbsp;Abby had chosen cremation. Services will be planned at a later date.&nbsp;Per Abby’s wishes, memorials can be made to your local humane society. Abby Lynn Gourley

<img src="https://media.eaglewebservices.com/public/2019/11/1574551257761.jpeg"> Janette Faye Pounds was born March 21, 1962 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Milton and Wanda (Nutz) Henderson. Janette passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit at the age of 57. Janette attended Glasco Elementary and Glasco High School. She graduated in May of 1980. On November 26, 1983, she was united in marriage to Gregory Donald Pounds of Downs. To this union were born six children. Janette was a wife, mom, RN, and a seven-time grandma. Her passion for caring for people started her on the path at the age of 16 until health issues forced her to retire as an RN in acute care at Mitchell County Hospital. Even in retirement, she continued to teach and give advice. Her passion for teaching her children and grandchildren or what she called “her girls” in the nursing profession was a great joy to her. To her, their accomplishments, whether in school, at their jobs, or life itself, was the ultimate gift for her. Janette was preceded in death by three children: daughter Kerri Lynn in 1985, sons Kaleb Donald in 1987 and Kale Gregory in 1988. Also preceding her were her grandparents, in-laws, and numerous other close family members. Survivors are her husband, Greg of Glasco; daughters, Kristen Pounds of Phillipsburg and Kimberly (Joe) Peterson of Lindsborg; son, Kody (Staci) of Great Bend; grandchildren, Carter and Cameron Jenkins, Colton and Caydence Ewing, all of Phillipsburg, and Kaden, Karly, and Kora Pounds of Great Bend; her parents, Milton Henderson and Wanda Henderson, both of Glasco; her brother, Mike (Cindy) Henderson of St. Francis; and her sister, Teresa Adams of Wamego. As her parents came from large families, there are lots and lots of other close family members. Not to be left out are her very close friends, all of her co-workers, from CNAs all the way up to the doctors, and most importantly, “her girls”. Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 27 at the Glasco United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 PM with family present from 6-7:30 PM Tuesday at the Dean Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation or the Church.

Mitchell “Butch” Hagen

Huiett, 75, Minneapolis, died Thursday, November 21, 2019.&nbsp;He was born in Salina on March 1, 1944 to David E. and Myrtle (Young) Huiett. Richard lived in the area most of his life, working for Ottawa County as both a shop worker and as a maintainer grader.&nbsp;He was known as a jack of all trades, dabbling in everything from woodworking, to cars, to fishing and anything outdoors.&nbsp;Perhaps most of all, Richard will be remembered for the amazing way he loved his grandchildren.&nbsp; Richard was united in marriage to Madonna (Adams) on September 25, 1965 in Tescott.&nbsp;Four children were born to this union.&nbsp; Richard is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank; and an infant granddaughter, Elizabeth Huiett.&nbsp; Survivors are his children, Patti Huiett, Timothy (Jennifer) Huiett, Karen (Bradley)Falder, and Kristina (Paul) McGuire; lifelong companion, Madonna; grandchildren, Reesa and Joseph Huiett, Orren and Ethan Huiett, Ethan Bevard, Jerica and Annie Parker, Jacob, Lauren, and Jayme Falder, Lacey and Lorelei McGuire, B.J. Willie Mae DuBois, 92, of McPherson, KS, passed away at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, November 17th, while in the company of family members, at Cedars Health Care Center. Willie was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma on February 10, 1927, a daughter of Esma Ree (Teel) and Otto Lee Parks. Willie Mae attended a two room school house, Prairie view Country School and graduated from Cement High School, Cement, Oklahoma. She was a member of Church of Christ in Oklahoma and Texas. Willie Mae worked for many years as a key punch operator and worked her way up to head secretary for Furr's in Texas. She worked hard to support her young family. She is survived by her children, Sharri Jeannie DuBois and Alexander F. DuBois, of Lubbock, Texas; her sister Minnie Belle, of McPherson, Kansas; her brothers Clyde Harold Parks, of Amarillo, Texas and E.J. Parks, of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Morna Ree Parks, Ima Lee Pope, and a Brother, Roy Lee Parks. A Celebration of Life will be held in Amarillo, Texas at a later date. Burial will be at a later date in Texas. Willie Mae DuBois

Terie Lynn Tector, 69, of Galva, KS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2019, surrounded by family at her home in Galva. She was a school teacher and special education teacher for schools in McPherson County and Commerce, OK. Terie was born on December 28, 1949, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Roland “Blackie” Hayes and Deloris Mae (Huber) Nutter. She received her master’s degree from Wichita State University. Terie was united in marriage to Larry Lee Tector on November 15, 1990, in Lindsborg, KS. She attended Galva Christian Church, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and former member of the Canton-Galva School Board. Terie enjoyed playing bunco and going to casinos. Survivors include: her loving husband, Larry of the home; son, Jeff Tector (Lori) of Galva, KS; daughter, Tammy Schmidt (Dennis) of Galva, KS; mother, Deloris Nutter of Pryor, OK; brothers, Tim Nutter (Carolyn) of Pryor, OK and Tony Nutter (Shelly) of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Danielle Schmidt of Galva, KS, Ryan Schmidt (Kelli) of Wichita, KS, and Kalisha Tector (Quinten Sloup) of Galva, KS; four great-grandchildren, Ryker Sloup, Kennadi Schmidt, Kaden Schmidt, and Jaxxen Sloup; and many other extended family and friends. Terie Lynn Tector

<img src="https://media.eaglewebservices.com/public/2019/11/1574465058664.jpeg"> Leo Benjamin Schwerman was born in 1926 in Beloit to Mary Wahlmeier&nbsp;Schwerman and Benjamin Schwerman. He passed away at his home on&nbsp;November 21, 2019 on his 93 rd birthday. He lived his entire life on the family farm&nbsp;north of Beloit. He attended elementary and high school at St. John’s, graduating&nbsp;with the class of 1944.&nbsp;He spent his whole life farming and ranching, raising crops, cattle, sheep and&nbsp;hogs. His proud achievement was being elected to serve as president of the&nbsp;National Farmers Organization for several years. He was an honorary life memberof the Knights of Columbus, being a member for 61 years. He also served in the&nbsp;National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Leonard and sister-in-law,&nbsp;Susagnes, and his great niece, Jennifer Stewart. He is survived by his nieces Ann&nbsp;Pearson (Tommy) of&nbsp;Ellisville, Mississippi, Rita Soler (Hector, nephews Dale&nbsp;Schwerman (Ann) and Carl Schwerman (Joanie) all of Beloit, Kansas, along with&nbsp;many great nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, November 25th from 4-7 p.m. with rosary service beginning at 7 p.m. at Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 26th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Leo Benjamin Schwerman

Geraldine Marie Tinsley, 92, of Canton, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Pine Village in Moundridge, KS. She was a homemaker. Geraldine was born on January 25, 1927, in Hillsboro, KS, the daughter of Albert and Helena (Unger) Schroeder. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1945. Geraldine was united in marriage to Stanley K. Tinsley on May 18, 1952, in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2014. Survivors include: two daughters, Marian Tinsley of Hesston, KS and Marlys Duchinsky and husband, Greg, of Wichita, KS; and brother, Laverne Schroeder and wife, Linda, of Atoka, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Kathryn Heinrichs. A private graveside service will be held at Canton Township Cemetery, Canton, KS. Geraldine Marie Tinsley

She was born on December 7, 1919 in Clay Center, the daughter of Calvin and Caroline (Taddiken) Lippe. Viola was raised near the Morganville Community. She attended Tabor country school and graduated from Clay Center High School. Viola married Francis Blackwood on August 28, 1940. They made their home on a farm in Clay County before moving to Lawrence, KS and then to Chanute. They owned and operated Blackwood White Nash Agency and Viola worked in an overhaul factory. The later moved to Independence, KS. Viola worked for Wiggins Wholesale, Wards catalogue department, Electric Manufacturing CO., and managed King Apartments for 30 years. In 2014, Viola returned to Clay Center to live closer to family. Viola was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church, Clipper Sunday school class, United Methodist Women and Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 16, 2005; her parents; 5 brothers, Harvey, Clarence, Fred, Orville and William Lippe; 2 sisters, Minnie Cyr and Irene Green. Vera attended local schools and graduated from Windhorst High School with the class of 1964. November 26, 1966 she was married to Bob Dick in Windhorst, Kansas. Most all of their married life was spent in Abilene where she had beenemployed by Duckwall Alco general offices for 30 years. Vera enjoyed cross-stitch as a past time. She was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 children, Timothy and Michele; a sister, Sister Karen Ackerman and 2 brothers Robert and Victor Ackerman. Vera is survived by: husband, Bob Dick of Abilene; sister, Doris (Dave) Waldron of Ulysses, Kansas; 2 brothers, Steve (Kerry) Ackerman of Spearville, Kansas and Dennis (Judy) Ackerman of Denver, Colorado. He was born January 18, 1999, in Salina to Tyler and Sarah (McConnell) Hagen. He graduated in 2017 from Salina Central High School. Survivors include his parents, Tyler and Sarah, of Salina; siblings, Elizabeth Hagen, Annabelle Hagen, and Sydney Hagen, all of Salina; grandparents, Karen and Ron Mueller, of Salina, Troy and Debbie Hagen, of Talmage, Vanessa Oxford, of Salina; great-grandparents, Victor and Sherry Lettrell, of Lawson; girlfriend, Chloe Pettijon; special canine companion, Honcho; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was born Jan. 23, 1920 in Gypsum. Donna attended school in Gypsum and graduated in 1938. She married William Clapsaddle, June 8, 1941 , moved to Southern California after their marriage, and lived in the same home in Lakewood, Calif., for 56 years. Donna Opal Clapsaddle

<img src="https://media.eaglewebservices.com/public/2019/11/1574386507107.jpeg"> Joyce Virginia Easter, 91 passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at her home in Salina. Joyce was born Nov. 3, 1928, in Elbert County Colorado, to William Robert Plant and Hilda O’Tilda Erickson Plant. She was a loving wife for 64 years, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and faithful prayer warrior. Joyce grew up on the prairie in sight of Pikes Peak on the family dairy, a homestead, attending a one room schoolhouse. In July of 1937 Joyce came to knowledge of Christ Jesus as her Savior. She moved with her family to Colorado Springs in 1948 where she attended Blair Business College. She met George Easter at a prayer meeting when the army stationed him at Fort Carson. The couple married on Palm Sunday, April 3, 1955. They moved to Lawrence, Kansas attending the University of Kansas until 1958. They lived briefly in Wichita, then Rural Dickenson County, finally moving to Salina in 1959 where they hosted many traveling missionaries and preachers. She was active in teaching Sunday School, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Biblefest at Sunset Bible Chapel, Kansas Bible Camp, Christians Women’s Club, Salina Rescue Mission, Bible Study at Salina Senior Center as well as working along side her husband in his business after working 10 years with VITA checking tax returns. She is survived by: husband, George; daughters, Beth Easter of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Karen Zeller (Stephen) of Overbrook, and Sarah Guidry (Chad) of Pearland, Texas; son, David Easter (Renee) of Villa de Leyva, Colombia; grandchildren, Jason Zeller, Becky Lamphier (Josh, Jon Zeller (Charlotte, Joshua Zeller, Jeffrey , Andrea, Matthew Guidry, David, Meleah, Lydia, Julia, George III, and Sophia Easter; great-granddaughter, Ellianna Zeller; and numerous other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Vera Walden. Clara Daharsh, and Cleona Plant; and brother, Vernon Plant. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Nov. 22, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 23, at Ryan Mortuary, with burial to follow in Abilene City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Kansas Bible Camp, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Joyce Virginia Easter

Vearl F. Ferguson, 72, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, November 20th, 2019. Vearl was born in Abilene, Kansas on March 6, 1947, a son of the late Garnet (Oard) and Guy D. Ferguson. Survivors include his wife, Joy; daughter, Heather Ferguson of Salina; son, Guy Ferguson of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Makayla Ferguson of Salina; brother, Steve Ferguson (Susie) of Abilene; sister, Pat Boyd (Rod) of Abilene; and his nieces and nephews. Cremation has been chosen, and there are no services planned at this time. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

<img src="https://media.eaglewebservices.com/public/2019/11/1574386169849.jpeg"> William James Crosley, 88, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019.&nbsp;He was born June 23, 1931 in Louisville, AL to Abraham and Eva (Chambers) Crosley.&nbsp;&nbsp;He moved from Kansas City, MO to Cape Coral in 2009. He retired from the United States Army in 1975, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars where he was a Purple Heart recipient. Following his retirement from the Army, he worked for the United States Postal service and retired again in 1997.&nbsp;Bill is survived by his stepchildren: Mike Kelly (Laura) of Kansas City, MO and Helen Tapp (Larry) of Barataria, LA; his sister, Doris Herrin of Jamaica, NY; his brothers: Aaron Crosley and Riven Thomas Crosley, both of Louisville, AL.&nbsp;Also surviving are a host of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.&nbsp;He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann in 2014.&nbsp;Visitation will be held at Roselawn Memorial Chapel Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10a.m. to 12 p.m. with burial to follow at 1p.m. in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Ks.&nbsp;For online condolences contact Roselawn at www.roselawnsalina.com

William James Crosley

(Vesely) Houdek, was born October 18, 1942 in Belleville, KS and passed away on November 18, 2019 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville at the age of 77 years and 1 month. Marvin attended the local schools at Albion, Ida, and later Munden, KS where he graduated from high school.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He then attended and studied agriculture at Fairbury Jr. College, Fairbury, NE.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Marvin served with the Army National Guard for 5 and a half years and was called to active duty, serving at posts in the United States.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On January 12, 1974, Marvin was united in marriage to Connie Rae Williams and to this union was born:&nbsp;Lori, Tiffiny, Amy, and Kyle.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The couple live on the family farm in rural Munden.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She preceded him in death on September 12, 2002.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;On October 29, 2005, he was united in marriage to Janis Sams and the couple lived on the family farm and in Belleville. Marvin was involved in farming his entire life, working with his family (Father &amp; Brother) and later on his own.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He was still involved with the farm operation.&nbsp;Marvin was a member of the Belleville/Concordia American Legion, and the First United Methodist Church, Belleville, KS.&nbsp;&nbsp;He enjoyed working with his children during their involvement in 4-H and their other activities. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ann Houdek, and his wife Connie. He is survived by his wife Janis Houdek, of Belleville, KS;&nbsp;one son, Kyle D. Houdek of Jacksonville, Florida; three daughters,&nbsp;Lori M. (Troy) Frybarger of rural Munden, KS, Tiffiny J. Houdek of Denton, Texas, and Amy R. (Caleb) Knepper of League City, Texas;&nbsp;11 grandchildren: Kayla, Jacob, Peyton, Amelia, Lucy, Nicole, Bryan, Chandler, Collin, Hannah, and Ethan; 1 great grandchild: Hallie Jane;&nbsp;one brother, Gary L. Houdek, of rural Munden, KS;&nbsp;&nbsp;one step-son, Scott A. (Jennifer) Sams of Jefferson, Georgia; 3 step daughers, Jo Lynn (Alan) Edmonson of Millidgeville, Georgia, Larae J. Dolores Fulton, 97 died November 17, 2019 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on January 28, 1922 in Clay Center, the daughter of Benjamin and Frances (Misner) Reed. She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS. She moved to California where she worked as a Nurses Aide. She married Daniel Zamora, I and they later divorced. She married Richard Fulton on September 1, 1978 and he preceded her September 9, 1981. She moved back to Clay Center in 1981.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, 2 sons, Gary Zamora and Daniel Zamora, II,&nbsp;several brothers and sisters. Survivors:3 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center KS. Dolores Fulton

Myron E. DeGraff, left this earthly life on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the age of 82 years at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas.&nbsp;He was born on October 31, 1937 in Rural Cloud County, Kansas to Charles and Ruby (Huscher) DeGraff. Myron attended Concordia High School. He married Virginia (Walker) DeGraff on June 14, 1964 in Concordia, Kansas and they were married for 55 years. He is survived by his wife Virginia, a son, Doug DeGraff (Amy, a daughter, Janet Michaud (Rod, 3 grandchildren, Adrianna Michaud (Zak, Brendan Michaud and Daegen DeGraff, and a sister, Marge Mansfield all of Concordia. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ruby. Myron was one of the original board members of the rural Nelson Center Fire District. He was a farmer and stockman all of his life.&nbsp;He worked at both the Concordia Livestock Auction and the Belleville 81 Livestock. He enjoyed spending time overseeing his cows and most of all Myron enjoyed spending time with family and friends.&nbsp; Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., November 21, 2019 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, with Pastor David Redmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Cemetery, Huscher, Kansas. Myron E. DeGraff

She was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Kipp, to Peter and Kathleen (Quinn) Martin. Alice grew up on the farm around Kipp with her eight siblings and worked at Camp Phillips in the 1940s and later for 24 years at the ASCS office. She married Ralph Vogelsberg in 1947 and was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Alice loved to dance, play cards, and had many opportunities to travel around the world. Alice is survived by: her children, Paul Vogelsberg (Erminda) of La Puzunca, Honduras, Marilyn Loy (Steve) of Polk City, Iowa, Jeanne Holloway (Bruce) of Warsaw, Mo., Delores York (Jim) of Midland, Ga., and Marie Vogelgesang of Munich, Germany; brother, James Martin of Solomon; and sister, Frances Holman of Topeka. Preceded in death by: her husband of 53 years, Ralph; five brothers; and one sister. Visitation will start at 4 p.m. with a vigil and rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Ryan Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
