The Greater Salina Community Foundation recently awarded over $35,000 to 12 charitable projects and organizations in Saline County. 

The following organizations received funding:

&nbsp;USD 306 Southeast of Saline, $5,000 to install an on-campus, 12-hole disc golf course for use by students and the public.

League of Women Voters of Kansas, $5,000 to host non-partisan civic engagement activities to encourage increased voter turnout for the 2020 election.

Salina Art Center, $5,000 to host artist-in-residence Fidencio Fifield-Perez for workshops, discussions, and activities that explore the immigrant experience in the United States.

Child Care Aware of Kansas, $4,967 for a childcare provider survey to benefit the new GROW Child Care initiative in Saline County.

USD 305, $3,000 to acquire a therapy dog for Heartland Early Education.

Smoky Hill Education Service Center, $2,850 to host a STEM education event featuring a Cosmosphere exhibit and workshops by a NASA education specialist.

Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas, $2,500 to provide direct client assistance through the agency’s disability assistance program.

Salina Community Theatre, $1,829 for a barcode inventory control system to help keep track of its large costume collection.

USD 306 Southeast of Saline, $1,500 to purchase a virtual reality kit for Southeast of Saline Elementary School.

Salina After Prom, $1,500 to support the Safe After Prom event for Salina high school students.

Salina Area Technical College, $1,497 to support instructor salaries for the 2020 STEM-Related Day Camp for students in 6th through 10th grades.

My Bike Kansas, $583 to market their free bikes for kids and bicycle safety training efforts.

This round of grants was made possible by four funds at the community foundation: the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, which supports projects and programs that improve the community’s quality of life; the Kansas Health Foundation Fund, which supports preventative programs that support healthy living across Saline County; the L.P. “Pat” Mullen Fund, which supports hands-on learning opportunities for youth in the areas of arts and humanities and science, technology and invention; and the YW Legacy Fund, which supports initiatives that align with the mission of the former YWCA in Salina.

Applications for the foundation’s next community grant cycle are due by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020. This will be the final grant cycle of the fiscal year. Detailed application and fund criteria are available at www.gscf.org/about-grants.

GSCF awards $35,000 in community grants

WICHITA, KAN.&nbsp;– Federal charges were filed Friday against three Kansas men in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store in Newton that ended with a chase and crash in Salina, according to U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister.

Jeremiah Urias, 18;&nbsp;Rico Montes, 27, and&nbsp;Jorge Correa, 25, all of Wichita,&nbsp; were charged with committing a robbery Feb. 4 at EZ Trip, 100 S. Main in Newton.

A criminal complaint filed in the case alleges two robbers entered the store before 6 a.m. One of the robbers in a red hoodie pointed a handgun at a clerk and demanded money, which the clerk gave him. Then a second robber carrying a military style rifle demanded more money. While waiting for the money, the second robber walked around the store firing shots into the ceiling and into an ATM.

Investigators used surveillance footage to identify a license tag number of the getaway vehicle. After a high speed pursuit, the Kansas Highway Patrol arrested the three defendants. Urias was driving. Montes was wearing a red hoodie and sitting in the front passenger seat. Correa was sitting in the back seat with a rifle.

If convicted, the defendants could face up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000

Federal charges filed against 3 for armed robbery, Salina crash

A vehicle stolen overnight was returned to its owner after it was found in another part of town.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Friday that officers were sent to the 800 block of Cherokee for the report of a 2007 Chevrolet Impala being stolen from the driveway of a residence there. Vanessa Vogel, 34, of Salina, told police that her car keys had been missing for approximately five days prior to the vehicle being stolen, he said. Vogel told police that she had last seen her vehicle at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday, Forrester added.

According to Forrester, an officer on patrol overheard the radio traffic concerning the stolen car and reported that he had seen the Impala parked in the area of West Ash Street and North 13th Street. When the officer returned to the area, the car was still there and was not damaged, Forrester said. The keys, however, were still missing, he added.

Stolen car located in another part of Salina

A rural Saline County youth was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident Thursday morning east of Salina.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that Camden Spano-Lund, 17, was eastbound on Country Club Road, when the 2003 Mazda B4000 pickup he was driving drifted off the north side of the road then went back toward the south side, rolled, and came to rest on its top. 

The accident occurred around 6 a.m., approximately 1,800 feet west of Whitmore Road, Soldan said.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office was notified of the accident shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday, when a passerby noticed the pickup on its top and called in, he said. When deputies arrived, Spano-Lund was gone, as he had been able to exit the pickup and walk to a nearby residence, Soldan said. 

Someone at the residence called the boy's father, who picked him up and took him to Salina Regional Health Center, Soldan explained. Spano-Lund was suffering from a possible head injury and could not remember what had happened in the accident, Soldan said.

ABILENE -- "Atlantic Resolve with the Big Red One" will be the topic of the upcoming Evenings at Ease program at the Eisenhower Presidential Library.

The February Evenings at Ease program is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. This free presentation is open to the public and will be held in the visitors center auditorium of the Eisenhower Presidential Library, 200 Southeast Fourth Street, Abilene.

Ft. Riley's 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team and 1st Combat Aviation Brigade personnel will share experiences from their recent Atlantic Resolve deployment. Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe has led the Department of Defense’s Atlantic Resolve land efforts by bringing units based in the U.S. to Europe for nine months at a time. Atlantic Resolve provides these rotational units with the ability to build readiness, increase interoperability and enhances the bond between ally and partner militaries through multinational training events. Hear firsthand about training with allies, overcoming logistical challenges and overall deployment experience.

Dick Vitale is living the dream and then some, baby!

"I've lived a life that's exceeded any dream, I mean, come on, making a living doing something you love," the 80-year-old former coach and current college basketball analyst said Thursday evening.

Dickie V, as he is known in basketball arenas throughout the country, was in Salina Thursday to speak at the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet.

Vitale credits his parents for guiding him on his life journey. He said his parents were factory workers with fifth-grade educations, however he noted that they each had "a doctorate of love."

"They taught my brother, sister, and I in this great country, if you have passion about what you do, and you do it to the best of your ability, a lot of beautiful things are going to happen," he said.

Vitale said he carries with him to this day what his parents taught him. 

The cruelty of others and the love of his mother

Vitale explained that when he was a boy, he lost the use of his left eye and that it would wander, not looking in the same direction as his right eye.

"I thought it was the end of the world," he said. 

His mother, however, bolstered his feelings, telling the young Richie, as he was known as then, that he had something that others didn't: his spirit and excitement for life.

"Don't let them hold you back," his mother told him.

Vitale recalled being a little league pitcher and hearing other children's parents ridiculing him because of his eye.

"I went home and I cried like a baby. I had to go in my room and my mother would say 'what are you crying about?' Those people, they're all ridiculing my eye. I'm 12 years old. She inspired me. She said 'don't let them get the best of you,'" he said.

Fast-forward to when his two daughters were young and his wife, Lorraine, took them to have their eyes checked.

"The doctor says, by any chance, I noticed the name is Vitale. Are you, by any chance, related to Dick Vitale? She says 'yeah, that's my husband,'" Vitale recalled. 

He said the doctor told Lorraine, "I'm a big basketball fan and I watch the games on TV. Has anyone ever talked to him about his eye...about correcting that eye?" 

Lorraine told the doctor that Dick's mother had taken him to a number of doctors and received all sorts of reports. The doctor told Lorraine that he was talking about correcting movement in the eye so that it worked with the good eye, Vitale said. She went home and told him what the doctor had told her, but he wasn't interested. 

An incident later, however, would prompt Vitale to pay a visit to the doctor. He explained that one day, after walking out of the studio, he asked the receptionist whether there were any calls. She replied, that just one guy had called and he had made her really mad because he he'd kept calling and demanding the company president's phone number. It seems the caller wanted to get Vitale off the air because he couldn't stand looking at Vitale's eye. 

"It was like a knife went through me. It brought back the memories of little league," he said. 

Vitale explained that he went home, called his boss -- Steve Anderson -- and told him that he was done with television and was going back into coaching because he was being ridiculed about his eye.

"He said 'Dick, we hired you because of your enthusiasm, your knowledge,'" Vitale said. 

"I was crushed, so I told my wife I wanted to quit and coach and she said, 'don't be ridiculous!'" he added.

Eventually, Vitale went to see the doctor, a pediatric opthamologist, who told him he would make an exception and work on Vitale's eye.

Vitale's enthusiasm shines through

It's easy to see Vitale's enthusiasm for what he does, but what is his favorite part?

"I love being in the arena. Go to Kansas. When I went there for Rock Chock Jayhawk last Saturday, I walked in and the kids chanting "Dickie V" going in. I mean, I'm 80 years old and they treat me like ...you know, its unreal. Same thing the other night at Carolina-Florida State. It will happen again probably Saturday. I'm doing Indiana-Purdue. I love it. I eat, sleep, and drink it," Vitale said.

"It's not work. It is absolutely stealing money! To sit at court side. The best games in the country, week in and week out. I'd do it for nothing, basically, because I love doing it. And I think that's what keeps me going," he continued. "People say, where do you get your passion and your energy? Very simply, if you're doing something that you love, and you wake up and you're excited to go, its going to really give you that impetus, and that's what it does for me. It really, really excites me. I can't wait for the next game."

After the Indiana-Purdue game on Saturday, the next game for Vitale is a special one, he said.

"That's special because a couple of guys going to the game with me. There was a package at an event that I spoke at and the package was that I would provide a private plane, they could come on a private plane with me to Duke. Mike (Krzyzewski) got me the tickets," Vitale explained. "I got six tickets and these people all bid six figures to go for cancer research because this is probably my biggest thing, people."

Indeed, Vitale has a gala each year to raise money for the V Foundation to fight cancer. This year, the 15th annual Dick Vitale Gala is scheduled for May 8 in the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota in Florida. The 2020 gala honorees include Mark Few, Gonzaga University head basketball coach, Stephen A. Smith, ESPN commentator, and Bruce Arians, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach. Additionally, NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly and Pat Williams, author, speaker, and former Orlando Magic executive, will receive the 2020 John Saunders V Foundation Courage Award during the gala, Vitale said.

Since it began, the gala has raised $29.5 million for the V Foundation, with $4.3 million raised last year. This year's goal is $5 million.

The V Foundation now has a special pediatric fund named in honor of Vitale. 

"V Foundation has now started what is called the Dick Vitale Pediatric Fund. Every dollar that I raise goes into that fund. I am certainly thrilled by that," he said. 

Vitale's fundraising efforts on behalf of fighting pediatric cancer don't stop with the gala.

"All my merchandise on my website, <a href="http://dickvitale.com">dickvitale.com</a>, if people go there, all my merchandise, everything. Every penny that I would make. Every penny. Goes in the pile and my goal this year is $5 million for kids battling cancer," he said.

The website includes his new book, "Dick Vitale's Mount Rushmore of College Basketball," which is billed as including "solid gold, prime time performers from my four decades at ESPN."

Offering advice to not only young people, but all people, Vitale said, "Find something you love doing."

Again, he related how his parents inspired him to do what he loved.

Vitale talked about how his parents worked in a factory.

"My mother would soak coats with a bunch of other ladies and my father pressed the coats in a hot factory, pressing those coats," Vitale said. "You got paid by what they called piece work. The more coats he pressed, the more money he made and it was like a machine from 7 in the morning to 4:30."

Vitale said his father inspired him because, "my junior year, he took me with him and he didn't want me to go and do what he's doing and I was heading that way. Nobody in my family went to college. And my mother had nine brothers and sisters and my father had nine brothers and sisters. Eighteen uncles and aunts, all blue collar. All they cared about was their family, three meals on the table, a lot of love for each other, and that's the way we lived."

He said his job was to run and get the coats. Afterward, his father gave him some advice.

"He'd say to me, 'you don't want to do this, Richie. Go to college. You got a brain in your head. Go to college,'" Vitale said.

Although he didn't think college was for him, Vitale's parents convinced him to go. Vitale graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He also earned a master's degree in education from William Paterson College and has 32 graduate credits beyond the master's degree in administration.

"I thank God every day. You know, I start my day off. In my bedroom, is a beautiful giant-sized picture of my mom and dad and me sitting on their lap when I was about three or four years old, and every day my day starts with me saying a prayer to them, thanking them for their love. For inspiring me, never letting me believe that I couldn't be a success in anything I wanted to do. I mean these are uneducated people with a heart of gold and a doctorate of love," Vitale said.

In 2019, Vitale joined the ranks of Howard Cosell, Keith Jackson, Curt Gowdy, and Vin Scully, when he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Sports during the 2019 Sports Emmy Awards. He also is the 2020 recipient of the NCAA President's Gerald R. Ford Presidential NCAA award, joining such recipients as Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Robin Roberts, Grant Hill, and Condoleezza Rice. Additionally, he has been inducted into the National Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Despite all his accolaides, Vitale gives it all back to his parents.

"Two things I will never forget in my home. My mom would always say, and my dad, 'never, ever, believe in can't. Don't let can't be part of your life.' And the second thing I would hear maybe 15 times a day, 'be good to people, Richie, and people are going to be good to you,'" Vitale said. "I'm in 14 hall of fames now. Fourteen! I can't run. I can't jump. I can't shoot. I got a body by linguine. I'm in 14 halls of fame because people have been so good to me. People have really just been great to me and that's why I want to give back."

He said his parents were factory workers with fifth-grade educations, however he noted that they each had "a doctorate of love.""They taught my brother, sister, and I in this great country, if you have passion about what you do, and you do it to the best of your ability, a lot of beautiful things are going to happen," he said.Vitale said he carries with him to this day what his parents taught him. The cruelty of others and the love of his motherVitale explained that when he was a boy, he lost the use of his left eye and that it would wander, not looking in the same direction as his right eye."I thought it was the end of the world," he said. His mother, however, bolstered his feelings, telling the young Richie, as he was known as then, that he had something that others didn't: his spirit and excitement for life."Don't let them hold you back," his mother told him.Vitale recalled being a little league pitcher and hearing other children's parents ridiculing him because of his eye."I went home and I cried like a baby. An encouragement from Troop C

Hear some music, have some fun, and help the Salina Innovation Foundation raise money to replace the Temple roof.

“Raise the Roof” at the Temple benefit concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 15 to raise the funds needed to replace the roof of the historic Temple building. The event features a night of music and dance in the historic theatre of the Temple, 336 South Santa Fe Avenue, with the band Lost Wax, which recently was named best in Kansas City, and performed at the Smoky Hill River Festival in 2019. 

Tickets are $35 for general admission and available for sale online at <a href="http://www.salinatemple.com">www.salinatemple.com</a> or 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday in the lobby.

The benefit concert was organized by three women who heard about the Temple’s efforts, and decided to help. Mary Ann Weiner, Teri Novotny, and Judy Beck have donated funds to pay for the band, and have worked to help plan and publicize the event.

The Temple, Salina Innovation Foundation is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to save and preserve the historic Temple building for use as a community resource center. 

The roof on this landmark is leaking, and causing damage to the historic interior. The third floor grand theatre contains a collection of more than 100 rare hand painted backdrops from the early 1900s. These backdrops hang directly under the portion of the roof that is ponding. Water is dripping on either side of the backdrops. 

“If these drops become wet, they will be damaged and lost for our community. Details of historic plaster molding and oak woodwork are becoming damaged as well,” said Mary Landes, executive director. “It is critical to start at the top, sealing the building so repairs and restoration can begin, and further damage can be stopped.”

The Temple currently is a venue for weddings, banquets, conferences, corporate parties, special community programs, a veterans networking center, a fully equipped co-working space, and has 15 co-working entrepreneurs who operate a variety of businesses, services, and art and music studios. 

“This fundraiser ensures that the entirety of the roof can be completed when added to proceeds from the City of Salina, private donors, and an insurance settlement. We are thrilled to have so much interest and support,” said Brad Anderson, Temple board chair.

The Temple was completed in 1927, with John Philips Sousa playing in the historic theatre for the dedication. It served as a USO show location in the 1940s, entertaining thousands of soldiers during WWII. The temple is seven floors, 160,000 square feet with historic marble and oak details from the 1920s. The Temple is on the National Historic Register.

TOPEKA—The Kansas Supreme Court will conduct a special evening session April 7 in Concordia as part of its ongoing outreach to familiarize people with the Kansas judiciary.

The court will be in session from 6:30 p.m. to about 8 p.m. April 7, in the Concordia High School auditorium, 436 West 10th Street.

It will be the Supreme Court’s first visit to Concordia in the court’s 159-year history, and it will be only the 12th time that the court will hear cases in the evening.

The public is invited to attend the special session to observe the court as it hears oral arguments in two cases to be announced soon. After the hearing concludes, the justices will greet the public in an informal reception in the commons outside the auditorium.

"Visiting communities gives Kansans an up-close look at how the judicial branch works," Chief Justice Marla Luckert said. "Watching an argument in a real case helps people understand how courts resolved disputes and the steps that are taken to make sure court proceedings are fair and are resolved based on a correct application of the law.

Luckert said people generally understand the trial process because they may have been in a local courtroom as a juror or witness, or they may know someone who has been in court. But fewer people have seen an appellate court in action. &nbsp;

"Bringing arguments to communities throughout Kansas gives everyone the opportunity to learn how the Kansas Supreme Court decides cases," she said. "People who come to watch and meet us afterward tell us they gained a better understanding of the Kansas judicial system and its constitutional responsibility to fairly and impartially resolve disputes."

The Supreme Court has conducted several special sessions outside its Topeka courtroom since 2011, when it marked the state's 150th anniversary by convening in the historic Supreme Court courtroom in the Kansas Statehouse. From there, and through the end of 2011, the court conducted special sessions in Greensburg, Salina, and Wichita. Since then, the court has had sessions in Colby, El Dorado, Emporia, Garden City, Hays, Hiawatha, Hutchinson, Kansas City, Lawrence, Manhattan, Overland Park, Pittsburg, Topeka, and Winfield.

The court started conducting evening sessions when it visited Hays in April 2015. The court's visit to Lawrence in April 2019 drew a record crowd for an evening session of about 800 people.

"Watching an argument in a real case helps people understand how courts resolved disputes and the steps that are taken to make sure court proceedings are fair and are resolved based on a correct application of the law.Luckert said people generally understand the trial process because they may have been in a local courtroom as a juror or witness, or they may know someone who has been in court. But fewer people have seen an appellate court in action. &nbsp;"Bringing arguments to communities throughout Kansas gives everyone the opportunity to learn how the Kansas Supreme Court decides cases," she said. "People who come to watch and meet us afterward tell us they gained a better understanding of the Kansas judicial system and its constitutional responsibility to fairly and impartially resolve disputes."The Supreme Court has conducted several special sessions outside its Topeka courtroom since 2011, when it marked the state's 150th anniversary by convening in the historic Supreme Court courtroom in the Kansas Statehouse. From there, and through the end of 2011, the court conducted special sessions in Greensburg, Salina, and Wichita. Since then, the court has had sessions in Colby, El Dorado, Emporia, Garden City, Hays, Hiawatha, Hutchinson, Kansas City, Lawrence, Manhattan, Overland Park, Pittsburg, Topeka, and Winfield.The court started conducting evening sessions when it visited Hays in April 2015. The court's visit to Lawrence in April 2019 drew a record crowd for an evening session of about 800 people.

A 20-year-old man wanted on an outstanding warrant from Saline County District Court was arrested Wednesday after leading police on a brief chase in west Salina.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, officers were dispatched at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 1600 block of Beverly Drive after receiving a report that David Eklund, 20, of Salina, was there. Eklund was known to have an outstanding probation violation warrant from Saline County District Court, Forrester said.

As officers neared the Beverly Drive address, they were notified that Eklund had changed locations and was at the nearby Ambassador Hotel, 1616 West Crawford Street, he said. As officers located Eklund there, he saw them and took off running west along the fence line of the Golden Spur Mobile Home Park just north and northwest of the hotel, Forrester said. 

Eklund eventually was intercepted in the 1600 block of Beverly Drive and a short struggle ensued before he was taken into custody, Forrester said. When Eklund was arrested, a syringe was found underneath where Eklund had been on the ground, Forrester said. Additionally, narcotics were found in a backpack found in Eklund's possession, he said. 

According to Forrester, Eklund was arrested on the warrant and on suspicion of the following.

ABILENE -- Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for another Jeans Day fundraiser.

A total donation of $280 was presented to USD 435 Abilene to go towards negative lunch account balances for students.

Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of January. The day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.

CONCORDIA -- Cloud County Community College has announced its homecoming queen and king candidates.

The 2020 homecoming queen and king will be crowned on Saturday between the men’s and women’s basketball.

College faculty, staff and students will be casting their votes throughout the week to select the winners.

On Saturday, the Thunderbirds will play host to Coffeyville Community College in Arley Bryant Gymnasium. The women will tip off at 2 p.m. The crowning of the CCCC king and queen will take place prior to the start of the men’s game at 4 p.m.

In addition to the homecoming crowning activities, the 2020 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during halftime of the men’s game. Three members will make up the 14th&nbsp;class of Hall of Fame inductees: Kevin Muff, Stanecia Graham, and Jennifer (Stunkel) Thalmann.

Muff attended Cloud County from 1982-1984, and was a member of the men’s basketball team, where he was a first team All Region VI player. He returned to Cloud County in 1998 as head coach of the basketball team, leading the T-Birds to a 202-153 record over 12 seasons. In 2005, he led the T-Birds to their first KJCCC West Division Title. In 2006 and 2007, his teams had 24-win seasons.

Graham was a member of the women’s basketball team from 2005-2007.&nbsp;During her time as a Lady T-Bird, she was a two-time NJCAA All-American, and was named the KJCCC Freshman of the year in 2005-2006. She is the second all-time leading scorer for the Lady T-Birds with 1,182 points, and rebounder with 588 rebounds.

Thalmann, who attended Cloud County from 1992 to 1994 was a seven-time All-American in track and field. She is still the school record holder in three events – high jump, the pentathlon and heptathlon. She was also the first Cloud athlete to earn a medal at the Texas Relays, coming away with second in the high jump. She was also a member of the volleyball team, helping them to an 83-20 record in two season. She also recorded 438 kills.

CCCC: Homecoming royalty, athletic hall of fame class

Two visiting artist performances are included in this month's First Friday events.

On Friday, Salina Arts &amp; Humanities will facilitate two visiting artist performances at the Salina Art Center, 150 South Santa Fe Avenue. The performances will complement current SAC exhibitions “Shattering the Void” and “Mother Tongue.”

Between 5-7 p.m. on Friday, visiting percussionist Dr. Fofo Tai-Jung Jackson will perform contemporary and Asian folk music on the marimba. Works include “To the Earth” by Frederic Rzewski, “Jing Marimba” by Chen Yi, “Michi” by Keiko Abe and more.

Jackson has performed as a solo and chamber percussionist in cities around the world with various musical groups. Her technique has been described as “sheer perfection” by Crescent News in Appleton, Wisc. Originally from Taiwan, Jackson came to the United States in 2009. She received a Master of Music degree with honors from New York University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Kansas. Jackson is currently a faculty member at the Culture House in Olathe, a percussion instructor at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, and freelances in the Kansas City area.

Following Jackson’s performance, the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company will present its original production of “In the Mirror, 3 Tales from Asia” at 7:15 p.m. 

Expanding on themes found in the current Salina Art Center exhibits, the tales from Korea, Japan, and Turkey feature atypical heroes. 

A favorite is the little old lady outsmarting two Onis (Japanese trolls) who imprison her to sample her delicious cooking. The show uses a clever stage that rises and folds out of a decorated box. The show is best suited for children ages five and up. 

The Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company is visiting Salina area schools through Friday through the Arts Infusion Program of Salina Arts &amp; Humanities. School and public performances by the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company are brought by Salina Arts &amp; Humanities in collaboration with the KU Spencer Museum of Art.
