Beverly Ann Stout

Beverly Ann Stout (nee Melson), aged 74, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024, in McPherson, Kansas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Born on August 14, 1949, in Oklahoma City to Roger Q. Melson and Bernice (Mead) Melson, she grew up in Oklahoma City, later moved to Edmond, OK and in 2013 moved to McPherson, KS. She was a loving wife to her late husband Rodney H. Stout, and a caring mother to her children Amy and Rodney, Jr.
Beverly lived a full life and was always ready for a celebration. She also had a green thumb and loved tending to her flowers. She enjoyed reading books and watching OU sports in her free time, Boomer Sooner! She was devoted to her clients and enjoyed serving them as a successful insurance agent. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and engaging personality.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Wurm (Mark) and son Rodney Stout, Jr. (Melissa), 4 grandchildren Laura Peuchen (Andrew), Katherine Wurm, Mary Ann Wurm, Wesley Wurm and 1 great-grandchild Miles Peuchen; and her brother Roger Melson (Carol) and many nieces and nephews who will miss her fondly.
A private memorial service will be held for family members at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Cedars or a charity of your choice in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
