October 16, 1928 ~ April 26, 2024

Ina Grace (Cooper) Hendrich, 95, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024.  She was born Oct. 16, 1928 in Russell County, to Ralph and Elva (Weinhold) Cooper.

Ina married Reuben Hendrich on July 19, 1946, and together they raised four children.  Ina worked outside the home as a nurse’s aide, first at the Russell Hospital, then after moving to Salina, Asbury Hospital, where she also worked as a ward clerk.

Ina was active in her church, and helped with the AWANA program for many years.  Attending church was one thing she missed once she was no longer able to do so.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; brother, Tolbert Cooper; sisters, Irene Hrabik, Mayme Martin and Mavis Kauffman; daughter-in-law, Linda Hendrich, and son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Minneman.

She is survived by her sons, Leroy and Leslie (Sue) Hendrich, and daughters, Anel Minneman and Faith (Randy) Rud, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1st from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be at Faith Bible Church, Salina, Kansas, on Thursday, May 2nd at 1:30 PM, followed by burial in Wilson Cemetery, Wilson, Kansas at 3:30 PM.
