Nora Elaine Reaves, 78, passed away April 28, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born on April 18, 1946 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Frank and Giovanna Koons. She received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Friends University and went on to pursue a career in aviation with Raytheon.
Elaine is survived by Jarold E. Lewis of Lehigh, Kansas, four children, Suzette Ghent (Paul) of Manhattan, Kansas, Terry Reaves (Lynn) of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Jerry Lewis (Kim) of Lehigh, Kansas, and Lynette Lewis (Lonnie) of Lehigh, Kansas. She dearly loved her seven grandchildren: Amber Hedden, Christopher Reaves, Quentin Ghent, Noah Ghent, Connor Davis, Brandon Lewis, and Victoria Lewis. She is survived by seven great-grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her beloved sister, Susan Diane Johnson, and her nieces and nephew: Crystal, Mason, Holly, and Amber.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Roselawn Memorial Chapel, 1920 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401 at 11:00 am and followed by entombment in the Williamsburg Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Park.
