 </figure>Widespread rain and embedded thunderstorms will impact the area on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.Widespread rain is likely today with southern and southeast Kansas likely to see an embedded thunderstorm or two. Rain will come to an end in the afternoon with areas of north-central Kansas possibly seeing a wintry mix before the precipitation ends, NWS noted. No accumulation is expected.
