Firefighters across Kansas are responded to multiple wildfires Sunday, with windy conditions making them difficult to contain.
In Hamilton County, Tanker 95 and DFMO Williams assisted local crews from a fire started when burning silage and hay bales produced embers that spread into nearby grass and continued to spread due to strong winds. The wildfire progress was stopped, and crews remained on scene to monitor and patrol.
There were no injuries reported. Authorities released no additional details.
