ELK COUNTY — A juvenile died in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Tuesday in Elk County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Polaris Ranger driven by Ariadna Ascenio, 17, Wichita, was westbound on a Wind Farm Road approximately 5.8 miles north of U.S. 160.
The vehicle turned southbound, overturned and the juvenile passenger was ejected and pronounced deceased. Ascenio was not injured.

ELK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred just after 12:30p.m. Tuesday in Elk County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a vehicle was westbound on a Wind Farm Road approximately 5.8 miles north of U.S. 160.
The vehicle turned southbound, overturned and the passenger was ejected. The KHP released no additional details Tuesday evening.
