JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement made an unusual find in a stolen vehicle earlier this week in a Kansas community.
Just before 6a.m. April 12, police on patrol in the city of Shawnee located an unoccupied vehicle displaying a stolen license plate, according to a social media report from the Shawnee, Kansas Police Department.
Further investigation revealed the vehicle had also been reported stolen. Officers recovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a puppy from inside the vehicle.
