MCPHERSON COUNTY.—A Kansas woman died in an accident that occurred just before 6:30p.m. Saturday in McPherson County.
The McPherson County Sheriff reported a silver sedan was southbound on 14th Avenue. The vehicle slowed and began making a left turn into a private driveway when it was struck by a northbound SUV.
The front-seat passenger in the sedan, identified as 43-year-old Julie Goucher of Galva, was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported both drivers to McPherson Hospital for treatment
The crash remains under investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
