A $3,000 electric bike was stolen in downtown Salina Friday night while its owner was at work.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, a gray Camp Scrambler Electric Bike was reported stolen sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight. The owner, a 34-year-old Salina man, told police that the bike had been parked on the north side of YaYa's European Bistro, 257 South Santa Fe Avenue, while he was working, Forrester noted.

Surveillance video is being reviewed, he added.
