Kansas drug task force makes meth bust near school

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating four suspects on drug allegations.

On May 11, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 2600 Block SE Adams Street in Topeka in reference an ongoing investigation, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

While conducting the search warrant, officers located marijuana, methamphetamine, firearms and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, 28-year-old Dakota Lehrbach; 26-year-old Steven Thorne, 34-year-old Kimber Jameson and 24-year-old  Tieler Lay were transported to the Shawnee Co. Dept. of Corrections.
