KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating an alleged arson fire at a home in Kansas City.
Just before 6p.m. Saturday, crews responded to a reported house fire in the 2500 block of Mersington Avenue, according to Battalion Chief MIchael Hopkins.
Crews reported smoke and fire showing from a two-story vacant house. Searches of the structure came back all clear. No injuries were reported. After investigation the cause of the fire was determined to be incendiary in nature due to multiple start locations.
Police have not reported any suspects or arrests as the investigation continues.
