Two Kansans accused of selling methamphetamine

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug allegations

On July 25, law enforcement officers with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and Douglas County Sheriff’s Nexus Unit executed a narcotics related search warrant in the 400 block of SW Western Avenue in Topeka, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the investigation, investigators found illegal narcotics including meth.

Tammi S. Moore, 57, and Jesse D. Jones, 31, both of Topeka, were arrested and booked into them Shawnee County Department of Corrections. Moore is being held on requested charges that include distribution of stimulants, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of a communication device in commission of a felony drug violation. Jones remains jailed on a requested charge of distribution of stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia.
