Sheriff: Kan. drug suspect was driving car without a license plate

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop near North Kansas Avenue and NE Gordon Street in Topeka on a white 2014 Lincoln MKZ without a visible license plate, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the investigation, illegal narcotics were located. Deputies arrested Deneile L. Snow, 40, of Topeka and booked her into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of a stimulant, possession of drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container of liquor.
