SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent crime.
Just after 3p.m. Feb. 20, police responded to the area of the 3400 Block of SE Indiana Avenue in Topeka for the report of a stabbing.
First responders located two individuals with non-life threatening injuries. These individuals were transported by ambulance to a local area hospital.
A short time later, an individual believed to be involved in the incident was located in the area. This individual, later identified as 58-year-old Bruce A. Bryant of Topeka was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center to speak with Detectives.
As a result of the investigation, Bryant was arrested and booked into theShawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Aggravated Battery.
