KANSAS CITY—Authorities are investigating the cause of a building fire In Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before noon Saturday, crews responded to a reported building fire in the 11300 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard, according to Kansas Fire Department Battalion Chief Riley Nolan.
On arrival crews reported smoke showing and found a fire in the basement of the building. KCFD quickly got the fire under control and checked for extension. Searches of the building came back all clear. KCFD transported 3 civilian patients from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital. Authorities released no additional details.
